More votes are expected to be tallied today after 4pm. More votes came in today after 4pm. We will host a virtual press conference on Monday, March 18, at 8am PST—please email for access.

As of Thursday’s results (March 14), more than 78,600 votes have been cast for Uncommitted Delegates in Washington State’s Democratic Presidential Primary. There are still more than 89,000 ballots left to count across Washington State for the presidential primary. 75,000 ballots have been challenged, with at least 60,000 of them due to voters improperly marking neither Party’s primary to vote in.

The Uncommitted WA campaign faced an uphill battle: A roughly $20,000 shoestring budget (1/10th the size of Listen To Michigan’s) and kicked off a volunteer-run campaign on February 24th, one day after early voting started. Hundreds of thousands of Washington voters were contacted during this campaign over the course of only eight days. The campaign far exceeded its goal of doubling the 2020 Uncommitted Delegates numbers to a total of 12,000 votes.

“Every vote should be counted to give a full, accurate picture of what has been accomplished through our Uncommitted WA campaign” said Rami Al-Kabra, lead organizer with Uncommitted WA. “We are thrilled that more than 78,000 Uncommitted Delegates votes have already been counted, but we expect that number to grow over the coming days, as the rest of the mail-in ballots are counted.”
